Cumberland FA is pleased to announce the following mid-season referee promotions:

Scott Taylor, Cumberland FA RDO, said: “I’m delighted to announce mid-season promotions for four of our grassroots referees in Cumberland as early Christmas presents. It is our way of rewarding their on-field refereeing performances and hard work over the past few months.

"I am extremely happy for them all as all four of them have put a lot of effort into gaining promotion mid-season, as the FA criteria states they must referee a set minimum number of games and undertake various online CPD courses. They must also pass an online FA Laws of the Game exam appropriate for their level.

"I’m especially pleased for Alex & Jade who are both U18 Referees and have refereed 10+ Adult games to gain this promotion. We wish them and all our Cumberland FA registered referees a Merry Christmas and a healthy and successful 2025.”
